During Fall through Spring Seasons at the fulford community hall

The Salt Spring Folk Club is a B.C. Societies registered not for profit Club, run by a volunteer board of dedicated islanders.
We welcome predominantly Canadian musicians—both seasoned performers and rising voices—to Salt Spring Island to stay, perform, and share their music with our community.
We believe music brings people together and helps places thrive. Our aim is to keep Salt Spring Island humming as a West Coast folk music hub, while supporting local businesses, fairly compensating artists, and creating shared moments of connection through live music and storytelling.
Just minutes from Fulford Village, the Fulford Community Hall has been part of south-end island life since 1921. This historic hall, with its high ceilings and well-worn character, allows the music to rise and fill the room.
We take pride in the food served at every Salt Spring Folk Club event, with homespun creations made from the freshest ingredients by Chef Brody Paine of Salt Spring Catering.

Creating delicious menus that celebrate local ingredients, bringing people together around the table

Crafting tasty, nourishing elixirs and tonics from natural ingredients.
And while the space sets the stage, it’s the dedicated crew and thoughtfully tuned equipment that transforms the event.
Salt Spring Folk Club shows come to life thanks to the many talents of our volunteers. A passionate group of locals – pitching in with heart and good humour – to make every show something special. As the saying goes…”It takes a village” or an Island in our case, and we are so blessed to have the community’s enthusiastic support.
We acknowledge and respect the Coast Salish people whose unceded land we live on, as guests. We are grateful for the gentle care they have bestowed upon this land and we thank them for their hospitality. We seek a new relationship with the first people, one grounded in honor and respect.
